Tide Massage was founded in 2025, born from both personal passion and professional experience. During a college summer break while pursuing my Computer Science degree, I earned my massage therapy license and began working at Massage Envy. That experience sparked a lifelong passion for healing through touch. I later had the amazing opportunity to work with 49ers players in Oakland, helping them stay game-ready and recover from intense training. Still, my heart was always back home—in Santa Cruz. I realized that our community lacked a certified, truly professional massage studio, and that’s when the idea for Tide Massage came to life.

We’re building a high-end massage studio that goes beyond a typical spa experience. While our rates may be slightly higher than those of regular massage spas, it's because we specialize in therapeutic care. All of our massage therapists are California-certified (National Holistic Institute, Cypress Health Institute) at the senior level, each with 10 to 15 years of experience, our focus includes post-operative rehabilitation, injury recovery, chronic pain management, sports massage, and trigger point therapy.

We use professional-grade products from Biotone, known for their vegan-based, organic ingredients. Cleanliness and hygiene are our top priorities—everything is changed after each session, including all sheets and towels, and every surface the previous client came into contact with is thoroughly sanitized.

Our massage tables are medical-grade, fully electric models from EarthLite, allowing us to adjust the height for clients with back pain or mobility issues to ensure maximum comfort and accessibility.
